# Cart drawer

Regardless of the action taken [<mark style="color:blue;">after adding a product to the cart</mark>](/unicorn-shopify-theme/theme-settings/cart.md#after-adding-to-cart), the cart drawer will appear on the right when the cart icon in the Header is clicked, provided the drawer is activated.

The current section offers two unique blocks to customize the Cart drawer without products added to the Cart. The blocks will be hidden automatically after the first product is added to the Cart.\
**Tip:** Press **"Add block"** to add each block individually. Then, select the "[<mark style="color:blue;">Empty cart: Collection</mark>](#empty-cart-collection)" or "[<mark style="color:blue;">Empty cart: Promotion</mark>](#empty-cart-promotion)" block.

To decide on the content that should be displayed in the Cart drawer, use the options provided below:

**Show vendor**\
Hit the checkbox to display a product brand above the title.

**Show checkout confirmation checkbox**\
Enable the option if your store requires customers to accept the terms of use before proceeding to the Checkout page.\ <mark style="color:orange;">**Note!**</mark> Change the confirmation text under the "Theme content" page in the admin by hitting the *"Sections"* tab and scrolling down to the *"Cart drawer"* block.

**Show order notes**

The notes entered into the "Order special instructions" input field will appear in your *Shopify admin -> Orders -> Notes*.

Enable the option to display the input field in the Cart drawer for customers to add special instructions to the order.

**Open order notes by default**\
Tick the checkbox to display the notes area in an expanded view by default.
