# Badges

## Badge

**Tip:** Use the **"Badge"** block to add a badge. To add a block, press **"Add block"**.\
This block can be added multiple times to display numerous badges for the menu links.

**Text**\
In this field, insert the badge's name, for example, "Sale", "New In", "Hot", etc.

**Background / Text**\
The background and text colors can be changed in the respective color pickers.

Link a menu item with a badge by placing its name in the field.

**Tip:** To display badges for the nested menu items, use **+**.

**Note!** If you applied the **"Mega menu"** section for a menu item, you can display badges for nested menu items using the "[<mark style="color:blue;">Badges</mark>](/unicorn-shopify-theme/section-groups/header/icon-menu/menu-item/mega-menu.md#badges)" block directly in the "Mega menu".
