# Utility Bar

Use section settings to display the top bar with additional content.

This functionality enables adding an extra line with content to the Header on the desktop, such as a country/region selector, language selector, and social media icons.\ <mark style="color:orange;">**Note!**</mark> By default, the bar is displayed on all store webpages on the desktop and is hidden on mobile.

**Use full width**\
Displays a bar in the full screen width.

Specify which information should be displayed in the bar by activating each option:

#### Country/region selector

**Note!** This option requires additional settings, which can be applied in *Shopify admin -> Settings -> Payments*. Learn more in the initial [<mark style="color:blue;">documentation</mark>](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/payments).

Activate the option to show the currency switcher in the left corner.&#x20;

#### Language selector

#### Social media icons

**Show social media icons**\
Enable the option to display social buttons on the right.

**Show Follow on Shop**\
To allow customers to follow your store using the Shop app, activate the checkbox. Check the initial [documentation](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/themes/customizing-themes/follow-on-shop) for more details.

#### Colors

Apply colors in the **"Background"** and **"Text"** pickers to match the overall store style.
