# Products

Use the current section to apply changes to all products in the entire store.

## Products

#### "Pre-order" status

After applying the described settings, the "Add to Cart" button will be replaced with the "Pre-Order" button.

**Show Pre-order for backordered products**\
Activate the option to display the "Pre-order" badge and "Pre-order" button for all products with the corresponding configurations set in your admin. Additionally, check if the "Pre-order" badge is enabled in *Theme settings ->* [*<mark style="color:blue;">Badges</mark>*](/unicorn-shopify-theme/theme-settings/badges.md).

**Background**\
The background color of the "Pre-order" badge and button can be changed using the color picker.

### Required admin settings

The following configurations in the admin are required to display the "Pre-order" status for the desired products:

**Step 1**

Go to your *Shopify admin -> Products*. Then select a product.

**Step 2**

Set the following settings for the desired product variant in the **"Inventory"** block:

* Activate the **"Inventory tracked"** switcher.
* Tick the **"Continue selling when out of stock"** checkbox.

The "Pre-order" status will be displayed for product variants that are out of stock.
