# Badges

**Tip:** To add a block, press **"Add block"** and choose **"Badges"** from the proposed list of the theme blocks. This block can be added multiple times to display numerous badges for the menu links.

In the **"Text "** field, insert the badge's name, for example, "Sale", "New In", "Hot" etc.

The background and text colors can be changed in the respective color pickers.

To associate a badge with menu items, specify the names of menu items in the fields "For item #1-#15".

**Tip:** To display badges for the nested menu items, use **+**.

Example: **Beds+Item #1.1**

Here is an example of how badges might display in a store:

**Note!** If you applied the **"Mega menu"** section for a menu item, you can display badges for nested menu items using the "[<mark style="color:blue;">Badges</mark>](https://mpithemes.gitbook.io/unicorn-shopify-theme/static-sections/mega-menu/badges)" block directly in the "Mega menu".
