# Performance

Use the current global section to define the strategy of loading content on store pages.

**PJPG image format**\
If the original image format used in your store is PJPG, activate one of the options from the drop-down to display images accordingly. The current drop-down includes two options: "All images" and "All except products". Select the "Disable" option if you use images in a different format, such as PNG. Information about image formats can be found [<mark style="color:blue;">here</mark>](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/images/theme-images#image-formats).\ <mark style="color:orange;">**Note!**</mark> This option does not convert images to progressive JPG format and can be applied to images that already use this format by default.

**Start for deferred sections**\
The number of content sections loaded instantly can be set using the provided scale. Adjust the slider to specify the number of sections to load simultaneously, ranging from 0 to 50. The recommended value is 5.
