Demo

In the following article, find the basic settings used for the Unicorn layouts and details on importing the theme structure of each demo as an alternative to setting up a store manually.

The theme includes five layouts: Valuable, Sunny, Dark, Flex, and Broad. Each layout has its own style, typography, and color settings as well as different options and the theme features enabled in the Theme Editor.

Start customizing the look and feel of your store by defining the style in Theme settings -> Theme style. Using a style in the global settings will ensure color and font changes throughout the store. Once you have decided on a theme style that matches your branding design, continue customizing your store according to your preferences.

In order to get the same view as in the demo (with a similar Header, Footer, Theme sections/ Theme blocks structure; features, and options used for a particular one), check the descriptions below to ensure you get the desired layout:

Import theme files

As an alternative to customizing the theme in the Theme Editor, you can import the theme structure of the desired layout using the ExIm app. This app provides the necessary functionality for importing Theme settings for free.

Note! The ExIm app allows you to import the theme structure for a licensed theme only.

Using the app is optional and does not affect the theme functionality.

Once you have completed the app installation, follow the listed steps to import the theme structure of the previously selected layout:

Step 1

After uploading the theme archive to your admin, go to Apps -> ExIm app - Export Import pages:

Step 2

  • Select the "Theme settings" item in the left-hand panel:

  • To import the default blogs or pages to your store, press the "Pages" or "Blog articles" items above the "Theme settings".

Step 3

Download the archive of the desired layout to your computer:

  • Valuable

  • Sunny

  • Dark

  • Flex

  • Broad

In case you need to import the default articles or pages to your admin, download the following archives:

  • Blogs

  • Pages

Step 4

In the "Import" block, select the theme and press "Add ZIP file" to import the theme structure:

Step 5

Finalize by hitting the "Import Theme Settings" button:

Once you get the message about success, press the link to navigate to the Theme Editor.

The blogs and pages will be automatically added to the Online Store -> Blog posts/Pages of your Shopify admin once the files are imported.
