{% hint style="info" %}
**Blogs -> Content and Sidebar -> Add block**
{% endhint %}

If you need to showcase a sidebar on blog pages, activate the option in *Theme settings -> Blog & Article Pages -> Blog sidebar.* There you can change the positioning and visibility settings. How to configure these settings, you can read [**here**](https://mpithemes.gitbook.io/shella-shopify-theme/theme-settings/blog-and-article-pages#sidebar-visibility).

 Here you can add content for the sidebar on the blogs page. There are 5 possible content blocks: “Sidebar Categories”, “Sidebar Tags”, “Sidebar Recent posts”, “Sidebar HTML”, and “Sidebar Subscription”. We will get deeper into each of them.

## Theme Blocks

## Sidebar Categories

Here you can select a **“Menu”** that you want to be displayed in the sidebar and give it a **“Title”**. If you want this block to be separated from the other ones, you can enable the option **“Show border”:**
